بناء علي الحجر الصحي المنزلي الذي نقوم باجرائه حاليا , قامت الاعلامية الرياضية شيما صابر بنشر صور لها منذ فترة قريبة على حسابها الرسمي على موقع التواصل الاجتماعي (انستجرام) وهي تقوم بعدة تمرينات رياضية , حتى تحافظ على لياقتها التي اعتادت عليها منذ ظهورها على قنوات التليفزيون الرياضية .

جاء اهتمام شيما صابر الرياضي من خلال قيامها بتقديم عدة برامج رياضية على قنوات التليفزيون , اهتمت هذه البرامج بالكرة فقط في جميع أنحاء العالم , وفتحت مجال لمذيعات كثيرة , فهي تقريبا اول مذيعة شابة تقوم بتقديم نوعية هذه البرامج , كانت بدايتها محررة لبعض برامج المنوعات الشبابية ,ثم اتجهت الي التقديم بعد ذلك .
بدايتها التليفزيونية جاءت من خلال تقديمها برنامج منوعات على قناة دريم , ثم ذهبت الى قنوات التليفزيون المصري , وذهبت بعد ذلك إلى قناة روتانا مصرية , ولكن بسبب بعض المشاكل التي فعلتها القناة , ذهبت هي وطاقم عملها إلى قناة ميلودي سبورتس الرياضية , وفي وجودها في هذه القناة غيرت مسارها التليفزيوني من منوعات الي رياضة .
جاء انطلاقها وتألقها في قناة النهار رياضة , تفاعل معها الجمهور الكروي بشكل غير عادي , ألهبت حماس متابعيها بالظهور كل يوم بارتداء تي شيرت لاندية مختلفة , كانت فكرة ذكية منها , فقد بدأت بارتداء تي شيرتات الاندية في عام 2014 مع بطولة كأس العالم , وكان هذا الظهور الجريء غير معتاد على الشاشات المصرية .
ثم ذهبت الى قنوات DMC Sport وقناة الأهلي المصري وحاليا هي تقدم برنامج على قناة TIME SPORT , حاليا شيما صابر تعيش اجمل ايام حياتها في قفص الزوجية مع زوجها اللاعب رامي صبري كابتن نادي إنبي الرياضي , احتفلوا بزفافهم منذ أيام قليلة في حضور الأهل والأصدقاء , وبعض من الاعلاميين والرياضيين ولاعبي الكرة , خاصة من لاعبي نادي إنبي لكي يحتفلون بقائدهم .
