قامت الفنانة العالمية سلمى حايك بنشر صورة جريئة لها منذ فترة سابقة عبر حسابها الرسمي على تطبيق تبادل الصور و الفيديوهات (إنستجرام) في عيد ميلادها السابق وعلقت عليها : (نعم ساتم غدا 53 عاما ) , وعلق على الصورة معجبين ومحبين لها من كل انحاء العالم و هنئوها بمناسبة عيد ميلادها وتمنوا لها دوام الصحة والسعادة .

ولدت سلمى حايك في الثاني من شهر سبتمبر عام 1966 , وهي مكسيكية من أصول لبنانية , والدها رجل اعمال مكسيكي لبناني يدعى (سامي الحايك ) ووالدتها تدعى (ديانا خيمينيز) من اصول اسبانية , والتي كانت من اشهر مطربات الأوبرا لذلك تأثرت بها سلمي كثيرا , واصرت علي ان تتعلم الموسيقى من والدتها التي كانت تعمل مدرسة للموسيقى .
تعتبر سلمي حايك من الفنانات الشاملات في مجال الفن , فهي ممثلة ومنتجة ومخرجة ومطربة ايضا , كما انها تعد أول فنانة من المكسيك تكون فنانة من أفضل فنانات هوليوود , كما اختارتها مجلة بيبول الامريكية في الاستفتاء السنوي لها , واعتبرتها المجلة فنانة من أجمل 50 فنانة حول العالم , كما حصلت على جائزة الأوسكار كأفضل ممثلة لعام 2003 , وفي نفس العام حصلت على جائزة الغولدن غلوب .
