قام رواد مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي بتداول فيديو للفنانة المصرية لقاء الخميسي والفنان السوري جمال سليمان اثناء تواجدهما في مهرجان الإسكندرية السينمائي وهما يلتقطون صورة تذكارية علي خشبة المسرح , ولكن مر الموقف بسلام وتداركه بسرعة الفنان جمال سليمان بدون أن تلتفت لقاء الخميسي لهذا .

وهذا الموقف جاء بسبب الفستان الجرئ التي كانت ترتديه الفنانة لقاء الخميسي , عند التقاطهم للصورة وقفت لقاء بجانب جمال سليمان , وبدون قصد ظل الفنان السوري يبحث عن مكان غير مكشوف حتى لا يقوم بالتلامس مع الفنانة لقاء , فوضع يده عليها ثم رفع يده سريعا والتقطت الصورة بدون ان تلتفت لقاء إلى كل هذا .
اعتادت الفنانة المصرية لقاء الخميسي بارتداء فساتين جريئة جدا في الفترة الماضية , مما جعلها مثيرة دائما للجدل والانتقاد الحاد من متابعيها ومحبيها من جمهورها , كما اعتادت مؤخرا على نشر صور لها بملابس البحر مع ابنها و زوجها , فعند ظهورها في أي مهرجان او حفل تكون من ضمن الفنانات المنتظر ظهورهم امام الكاميرات .
ولدت لقاء في الخامس عشر من شهر مارس عام 1978 , بداية حياتها الفنية كانت في مجال الإعلانات , ثم ظهرت في مسرحية بعنوان (تحب تشوف مأساة ) , تألقت من خلال دورها الذي قدمته فيها , وبعد ذلك قامت بالمشاركة في بطولة مسلسلات كثيرة , أهمها مسلسل قضية رأي عام مع النجمة يسرا و راجل و6 ستات مع النجم أشرف عبد الباقي .
