قامت الفنانة مى عمر بنشر صورة لها على صفحتها الشخصية على موقع التواصل الاجتماعى الشهير انستجرام وظهرت فى الصورة وهى ترتدي فستان ازرق اللون ومنقوش بالزخارف والورود ولكنه كان قصير جدا وكشف عنها كثيرا من الأسفل ولكنه من الاعلى كان محتشما ولكنه ضيقا وأظهر مفاتن الصدر مما عرض مى عمر للانتقادات الكثيرة خاصة بعد نشرها لتلك الصور فى شهر رمضان .

مى عمر هي فنانة شابة ولكن فى الفترة الأخيرة اعتادت على أن تنشر الصور الجريئة خاصة فى الفترة الحالية وحتى فى شهر رمضان حيث ان مى عمر كانت فى السابق تنشر صورا عادية جدا يتفاعل معها الجمهور على أنها صور تظهر جمال مى عمر نفسها وجمال وجهها ولكن فى الفترة الحالية قامت مى بتعريض نفسها للانتقادات بسبب جرأة الصور التي تقوم بنشرها مما يجعل البعض يعلق على صورها بتعليقات سخيفة .
مي عمر من مواليد السابع من فبراير عام 1988 تخرجت من الجامعة الامريكية قسم صحافة واعلام , وكانت بدايتها الفنية عام 2013 في مسلسل حكاية حياة للنجمة غادة عبد الرازق , ثم قامت بمشاركة هيفاء وهبي في مسلسل كلام على ورق , ثم مسلسل الأسطورة عام 2016 مع محمد رمضان , ثم في عام 2019 قامت بمشاركة بطولة ولد الغلابة مع النجم أحمد السقا , وجميعهم من إخراج زوجها المخرج محمد سامي .
تزوجت من المخرج محمد سامي عام 2010 , واثارت اعمالها معه بعض المشاكل لها وله هو ايضا حيث اتهمته الفنانات ياسمين صبري ونسرين أمين انه اعطي مساحة الدور الأكبر لها في مسلسل الاسطورة وقام بمسح مشاهد اكثر لباقي الفنانات .

Mai Omar was born on February 7, 1988. She graduated from the American University of Journalism and Media, and her artistic start was in 2013 in the series “A Life's Story” by Ghada Abdel Razek, then she participated with Haifa Wehbe in the series Kalam on Paper, then the Legend of 2016 with Muhammad Ramadan. Then, in 2019, she shared the championship of Ould El Ghalba with the star Ahmed El Sakka, all directed by her husband, director Mohamed Sami.
She married director Mohamed Sami in 2010, and her work with him raised some problems for her and for him, too, where artists Yasmine Sabry and Nisreen Amin accused him of giving space to her biggest role in the Legend series and surveyed more scenes for the rest of the artists.
